This car started life as Dale Jr.'s 2004 Daytona 500 winner, but constant issues with the superspeedway mods finally gave way to this version of Dale's ride. This car has numerous mods made to both the body and chassis. A partial list is:
- Spoiler braces added
- Updated dash mods
- Custom racing seat to replicate Dale's 1:1 version
- Scratchbuilt rear coil springs
- Aluminum panhard bar
- TV cameras added
- Cool Air Box for driver with plumbing
- Fully plumbed and wired engine compartment and chassis
- Radio antenna added
- Grille opened and screen added
- Modified exhaust
- Racing harness added
- Fire suppression system added and plumbed
- Rollcage bracing added ro fenders and 1/4 panels
There are many more things I did to this car to get the final results I was looking for, but these are the major changes. All resin mods are courtesy of Modern Motorsports and the decals are JWTBM. Paint is Model master with Duplicolor clear polished.
