"Completely scratch built. Body and chassis masters were developed from the grossly inaccurate Starter kit (rear end shortened 1/2 inch, roof cut off and recontoured, sides reprofiled and the front and rear bumpers made from laminated sheet plastic) and then copies cast in resin. Decals are a combination of Starter and custom made gold foil numbers and some sponsor markings. Paint is custom mixed Dupont base/clear coat maroon and white. The whole model took over a year and a half to design and model and I have other versions of the 67 Fairlane to follow. "
