Slixx Decals on a Revell Sterling Marlin donor. My airbrush and I are usually not on speaking terms, and in the rush of ordering decals before Slixx closed it's NASCAR division, I neglected to check reference pics. My stomach dropped when I saw the fade but I had a discussion with my airbrush...we agreed to terms and I went to it. The body was first finished in Tamiya Yellow, and I used Tamiya Fluorescent Red recovered from the aerosol can for the rest. The first attempt wasn't bad, but I ended up with a run on the right rear fender. The second attempt was just a disaster. Three's a charm, and I was happy with the result. I also learned more about my airbrush, particularly that using a compressor makes all the difference over air in a can. "
