decals by 3 Amigos!

Note From Bill:
"....Terry Labonte Kellogs Donor kit and Three Amigos did the rest! The body was finished using Tamiya Black and Silver Leaf Sprays and basic build on the chassis. Original kit decals were used for the fender contingencies and the rest came from the Three Amigo's set.

The decals went on very well, and covered well on the black with very little bleed-through. Les Smirle is a sick man if he thinks the best part is putting on them rivets. They are pretty fiddly, especially round the tight curves and trying to get them all going the right way takes attention. I put the second row across the back bumper and after finally getting them into position, I noticed they were running backward to the first row! (time for a TALL one)

For some reason, they didn't like the silver paint ( probably my fault for messing with 'em too long) and needed clear coat to hold them down. I got 'em on and even though I got lucky, the sheet comes with lots of extra rivets to fix boo-boos. The result is worth the effort and the effect is really cool."
