Bill Elliott's 2001 DODGE Intrepid

Note From Bill:
"Box-stock, except for the addition of the ignition wiring, and I couldn't stand the placement of the wheels on this latest fiasco from Revell-o-gram. Being basically a Pro-finish kit with no finish, Revell seems to be making the chassis generic for all the cars. On the Dodge, it makes the wheels sit inside the fenders by what would be almost a scale foot. This reguired making up spacers for all four corners, a new rear axle and much Super glue. This makes the car look O.K. from the top...just don't turn it over to see that terrible chassis...clunky rear suspension, no front shocks, panhard bar dragging the ground....don't get me started.

Kit decals went on well, but I wouldn't recommend the roof deflector as it is out of scale and not easy to position. Tamiya Bright Red used as the finish. A frustrating project, and I really hope we don't see all the new kits coming out in this format. ..."

(Note from Mr NASCAR: Bill is a fellow Canuck, in fact he lives in my old stompin' grounds, in Eastern Ontario...)
