Comment from Jeff:
"This car is the new AMT COT Impala snap kit. I bought it on a Saturday and completed it Tuesday. Probably the fastest build I ever completed lol. Pretty much box stock except I painted a few things that weren't right (dash was grey, roll bar padding, Earnhardt bar and side foam padding was grey as well). There's 2 options when doing this kit: stickers or decals. I decided, obviously, to do decals. What a pain in the ass. Adding Micro Sol to get the decal to conform to the body was a huge mistake. So if you do get to do one of these kits, try to avoid using a decal solution. As you can see by the rear tail lights, decal solution makes these things break apart. Not only that, but they are crap decals to work with anyways. Some are also too small as far as scaling. The front contingencies and Mark Martin's name are a tad too small. Then, the rear Chevy bowtie is far too big.
I had very little problems putting this thing together. Pretty easy. I didn't have any problems with the splitter and splitter braces as some modelers on here have had. The one thing that bothers me a bit about this car is the rear wing. It's tilted way too far ahead. That can be modified but still. I applied 1 coat of Future and at some points, it seemed that the Future kinda "slid off" the finished surface.
Overall, the look of the body is pretty good. It looks pretty proportionate to the real deal. This will be my one and only snap COT. Not only was a little disappointed with some things tooling-wise, a $25.00 price tag for a snap kit kinda put me off."
