Kyle Petty’s 1979 ARCA MAGNUM - Daytona 200 Winner

Comment from James:

"..a Magnum I built as Kyle Petty’s 1979 ARCA Daytona 200 winner with Cherry Run decals I got year or so ago. The body is one of two of the long out of production JNJ 1/25 scale (that I am 99% positive Steve Bruckner used for his Neil Bonnet Magnum) I found on e-bay almost two years ago. The bodies are more accurate than the one SMH has made, but the surface finish is rough (I’ll disagree with Steve that it is poor work) and requires a lot of sanding/priming/painting. I used an early 80’s Monogram Petty Pontiac kit for the chassis, and the small block (360) engine that was left over from the Polar Lights Baker Charger I built with the hemi. I thought (as its my first resin experience) it turned out OK. I’ve started to work on the second body and my plan is to make it Frank Warren’s Magnum assuming the decals are still available from Cherry Run.."
