"... Here is the Marcus Mirada. Please use these pix’s for “The Hood”. One of them is with my Petty GP (I used another kit I had to build the Mirada) to compare how you can transform a GP into a Mirada... I took a different direction with this one. I started with an ‘84 Gran Prix body/chassis, and a 1984 Chevy Cavalier promo model, which I cut the nose off, widened and glued on. Like the Regal bodies, I modified the rear roof pillars to match a Mirada. I’ll give myself an A for effort, and a C+/B- for results. I painted and decaled (a combination of ’69 and ’82 decals---SLIXX, I think) the car to look as it ran in the World 600, though according to a book I’ve looked thru (The un-Official NASCAR Guide) Dave ran the car 5 times in ’81."
