RED FARMER's #97 1966 FAIRLANE

(Note From Mr N:
Contributor Chris Louden steered me to Mack's great models. Where else are you gonna see early rides of some of the great names in Stock Car Racing? Thanks, Chris... and Mack!!)

Notes From Mack:
"This car was built using the AMT 66 Fairlane. I used the front snout of the AMT 65 Galaxie 500. I grafted the snout onto the Fairlane's frame rails. Scratchbuilt items include the roll cage, shock absorbers, dash board, wheels, headers, headlight and tail light covers, grill and radiator shroud. It was painted with Duplicolor pure white and buckskin gold"

Growing up in Alabama, it's hard not to be a fan of the Allisons, Red Farmer, Neil Bonnett, Jimmy Means, and other assorted members of the "Alabama Gang"..."
