NASCAR Models from Michael Madlinger!!!

Kyle Petty's test car

Note From Michael:
"The attached pictures show a Hot Wheels test car. My reference material is a movie called "Hot Wheels Pro Touring Video - The Race to Daytona". I bought it several years ago at a Target store while visiting Atlanta. The decals are Microscale stripes cut to shape. The paint is Dupli-Color Scratch Filler and Primer followed by a coat of Dullcote.

The fuel filler is from Race Ready Replicas. The pitot tube on the roof is a piece of fine wire bent to shape. The data sensor package is made from styrene and black wire. It is mounted on the passenger side floor. The tape for the grills is black decal material cut to shape.

I really enjoyed building this model. The lack of a colorful paint scheme really brings out the black areas around the windows. "
