Kevin Harvick's Reese's with Caramel 2006 Monte Carlo (Talladega)

Note from Mickey:
"I used the 2006 #24 J Gordon Revell kit for this build. I used John Barker's decal of the #29 K Harvick "Reese's with Caramel" from the spring Talladega race. This is my first build in over three years, got away from model building but am glad to be back into it.

I love to detail Cup & BUSCH builds using unique, one off, single race scheme's. I don't build the engine's very often, just concentrate on the exterior of the car, and to be as accurate as can be using numerous reference pic's. I got lucky with matching the color on this build using a hardware store chain's house spray enamel, in this case Orchard Supply Hardware Orange. I'd rather be lucky that good...........sometimes. "

I like to detail the interior, mostly with paint, but am going to start using something for the LR & RR window ducts, after market ducting. I use small wire for the steering wheel mike wire, usually lay the steering wheel on the dash.

Love detailing the wheels, wheel decals, valve stems using very small diameter wire drilled and glued into the wheels, tire rotate stripes, and tire decals.

Note from Mr NASCAR: Mickey will be familiar to denizens of Randy's Board as Mach2...)
