NASCAR Models from Bavaria's(!) Michael Herzig!!!

(e-mail Michael!)

Jerry Nadeau's 1998 "ZOMBIE ISLAND" Taurus!!

Quote From Michael:
"...My 1999 "Scoobie Doo on Zombie Island" was my first kit being painted with a spray candle (note - I assume Michael means airbrush - Mr N.). First I have used the original Ford lime yellow and then a Tamiya clear coat after putting the decals on.

Luckily I have three pieces of the monogram decals, because I have some troubles with the ear of Scoobie Doo. The first two ears don´t want to be on the car and get off. And I also need a second little #9 for the backside of the Taurus. Some little SLIXX- fenderdecals I have added to the car and also a yellow "rookie" strip.

On the body I have added a antenna and 6 spoilerholders made out of tubing. Other modifications are air exhaust pipes formed of sheet and hoses, who better fit to the windowholes than the stock ones..."

(I find the idea of a NASCAR modeller in Bavaria, home of BMW, Mercedes, etc, kinda neat! Here in Michael's words is a bit of his background. - Mr N.)

"...My full name is Michael Herzig and I was born in Munich. I am a real "Münchner Kindl". Today I live about 40 miles away from Munich in a small town called "Dornwang". But I think it would be okay if you write "from Munich" so the most of your visitors could handle it!!..."
