"This model depicts the car seen in the 1960 movie "Thunder in Carolina". Rory Calhoun was the star of the movie and played the part of Mitch Cooper who to me acted a lot like Curtis Turner .The only difference was that in the movie, he was not rich but in real life Turner was . The movie is being re-released on DVD at the end of April. I used the Revell Black Widow kit and Model Masters Acryl paint shot through an air brush. I added white to the blue to get the shade I wanted. The decals are homemade inkjet printed on testors paper."
