COFFEE TABLE!!

Jeff Gordon Table......The cars rotate at 2 rpm a minute....the tables are
also lighted......the lights provide a beautiful glow to a room....Trucks are
mostly hand painted at this point....soon went into making my own
decals....the wood can be either..oak,cherry,or whatever..And sometimes use
Marble that is an inch thick.....the split axle trailers come later.....table
are exact size as a regular coffee table.....

Tables come with 3 cars that are detailed differently... 1 is ready to
race.... 1 is race damaged..weathered,beaten..... 1 is detailed..with raised
roof flaps, wheel hub detail, (My own resins with lug detail)... all cars have
hood pin details...my own.
"I have been building NASCAR
models professionally for the last 8 years....Professionally, ( in my terms )
means I do it for a living ( and that's all )....I have a complete line of
displays that range from a single car in a case,to an elegant coffee
table...they fall in the 2500-3000$ range....I have sold 20 of these..and
probably 100 displays that sold for between 500-800$....In my busiest
times..I built for 15-18 hour days.....and did this for months on end to keep
up with the demand.....
I make my own decals and have an extensive graphics
arts background.......this really helps!...Also, I use the EXACT paints of
NASCAR....meaning the PPG,Sikkens,and Dupont products..And usually I clear
with the Chroma Clear system....the clear is 110$ a gallon...and the base
coats are around 50-65$ per quart......I spray with professional sprayers and
equipment.....using a 3 seperate Jamb guns for spraying....
I have been
building since I was 6, I am now 39...I build more in a month than most in a
year....and in a year, I probably build more than most in a lifetime....
I
usually build cars in 24-36 lots ( of each driver ).....and remember building
close to 120 cars at once...another time I remember spraying 165 clear coats
in a day...I remember a 3 week period where all I did was decal cars....15
hour days,everyday! I also scratch build split - axle trailers.....and they
are also stretched...ALSO..I resin cast an entire pit scene that has almost
every part that can be replicated in a diarama......I have taken pics of
everything I have built....and am now thinking of selling the parts that I
resin...I also resin 13 different pit figures....and also make custom cases
for just about anything!
