"Skip Jackson will go down as one of the most popular drivers to ever compete at the Knoxville Raceway. The native of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia now calls Knoxville home. In 2010 driving the #2 SLIDEWAYS car, he finished third in points in the 410 class at Knoxville.

Skip has routinely hit the podium this year, including on his qualifying night at the Knoxville Nationals. The two-time Knoxville track champion qualified fifth, which put him inside row three for his heat race. After running third in the heat, and with a feature invert of six, he would post outside row one for the main event. He shot out to an immediate lead over Brian Brown. A series of cautions plagued the 25-lap feature. Finally, the last restart saw Skip bobble a bit and he would settle for second "
