Mark Martin's 2000 VALVOLINE TAURUS

OK, it's a big ol' 1/18th scale diecast, but I feel a part of this model, as Randy asked me to make a decal slightly larger than the one originally applied on the hood by the manufacturer. He sent dimensions and graphics file, and I fired up the old ALPS, and.. Viola! )

Notes From Randy:

"Here is what the new decal looks like on the car! As you can see there are no before pictures but I did include a couple showing the approximate size of the old one. I got ahead of myself and just as I started removing the old one with nail polish remover it dawned on me that I was going to shoot before pics...oops! So much for the before shots!

I also ended up filing the 2 inner hood pins off so it didn't matter whether I kept the old paint in the end... I had to repaint it anyway... I then applied the decals and made 2 new hood pins and painted them white. I plan to gloss the hood in a couple says after which I will repaint the hood pins. Well... it looks great... "
