Wendell Scott's 1973 Talladega Mercury

Comment from Robert:

"the Wendell Scott Mercury. This is the car he raced at Talladega (1973 - Mr NASCAR) and was involved in his serious crash. I used the Polar Lights Ford Chassis and the 429 running gear. Most of the research I have found said this was a Holman-Moody turn key car with out the engine.

The body is from the old MPC Series from the 70's. This body was the Purolator Mercury. The chassis is detailed with dry sump oil lines, brake lines and a gas line. The chassis also has a rear end cooler with lines that run inside the car. This car build is one of my pride and joys. (As it should be, Robert! - Mr N.) "
