Jerry Nadeau's POWERPUFF GIRLS Taurus

Story from Steve:
"I wonder what Jerry must have thought when he first saw THIS beast? "What the blue blazes..."

The Power Puff Girls is a show on the Cartoon Network, featuring the antics of 3 sweet lovable little girls (Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup) who just happen to have super powers. They save the city of Townsville from giant monkeys like Mojo Jojo nearly every episode. The show is animated in a reto-50's style, and is actually pretty entertaining for both adults and kids. It's proven to be immensly popular, and there's even a movie coming out this summer featuring the girls.

Since the #9 team was sporting Cartoon Network sponsorship in 1998 when the show was introduced, the sponsors decided to paint up Jerry's car in the Power Puff Girls colors. This meant Jerry had to pilot a bright pink car in a macho-testosterone sport! Blossom, the leader of the trio, was on the hood, with Buttercup on the driver's side and Bubbles on the passenger's side of the car.

Wetworks brought out a decal sheet to do this very colorful car, and I got right down to work. The main color is a Plasticote Odds 'n' Ends color called Bougainvillier, which matched the Power Puff pink quite well. The decals were spectacular; they layed down well, and the colors were quite vibrant, cataching the spirit of the show. Even the characters of "Teacher" and "Mayor" were on the sheet! Bravo!

Jerry didn't have very good luck in this paint scheme, crashing out a couple of times, but he sure caught the fans' attention!"
